Artist description
The skindigs, an underground sensation consisting of four members who take their original Rock N' Roll seriously. Their style is a driving storm front, but there's always a calm after the storm and the skindigs provide a perfect mix of aesthetic highs and lows. Creative writing is an important factor for our music, and at the core of every skindigs song are the thought provoking words. Often serious, sometimes humorous, each containing a different story. This combined with their varied musical interest's fuse to make a unique and intense live experience. The skindigs resounding live performances have gained them a consistent loyal following. Various set lists include grinding blues, catchy rock numbers and even a lunar space sagawith sixteen individual interrelated songs that skindigs fans know as "Blow Up The Moon". This Lunar Drama Dream is only a brief stellar voyage in a set list that sometimes exceeds 40 songs. The nucleus of The skindigs has been together for 5 years now. With the recent addition of a veteran drummer, the skindigs are a seasoned musical force with a fresh sound. The skindigs provide an impressionableperformance that audiences won't soon forget. The New York based band has brought their high-energy show to music halls, clubs, and numerous events and summer festivals. On occasion the skindigs have been known to play a cover song or two, but they've always proven that they can provide an original performance that lyrically brings you in and musically holds you until the final note let's you go. |
