Artist History
When the Sluggos formed in 1989, there were but two: Michael Carmody (acoustic guitar, vocals) and Kent Downing (snare, vocals). Soon they were joined by Stephnnie Decker (bass) and Wayne Gottstine (guitar, vocals), and the band started gigging. In early 1991, Downing left to form the punk group Those Undesirables, and Jeff Jenkins stepped in as drummer. "Sifting for Victims" was recorded live at The Spot in Wichita, Kansas by Mike (Old Joe Clarks) Coykendall on May 24/25, 1991. The Sluggos broke up in October of that year. A semi-reunion featuring Carmody and Gottstine is scheduled for December 15, 2000 at Kirby's Beer Store in Wichita. |
