Artist description
PC is comprised of four members all from Pacoima,
Ca located in the San Fernando Valley.
The members are: Skitzz, who produces all the
tracks as well as raps on them. Temperature's experiences with
the opposite sex, provides for many a tale of love, deceit &
drama and the struggle of the average urban male together with all of the other
pitfalls of the ghetto; Razputin, who sounds like a
mexican RZA from the WU-Tang Clan but whose
subject matter is so totally off the wall
that it usuallly takes a few listens before
you can comprehend what he actually said.
He's been known to create words or phrases
and make them sound as if they have always
existed in the English language; Finally,
we have Eluzhen whose delivery is so precise
and his metaphors so clever he will make
Roget (Roget's Thesarus) cringe. In fact,
I would put my money on him against any
rapper out there. Pyroteks is definitely a group
worth listening to. Their sound is unlike
any other you have heard. Although they
are from the west coast, you can feel their
musical influences ranging from west coast
to east coast to down south and anywhere
in between. Take a listen and hear for yourself.
One More Note: We are not to be confused with
these other so-called "Rappers/Mcs" claiming
Pacoima or any other 818 city. If you want
to hear quality tracks from people that actually
have talent then you've come to the right place.
Otherwise you can listen to sh**y lyrics & wacked beats at these
other cats websites! I think we all know who they are! |

Artist History
Skitzz and Razputin, friends since Junior High, have been rapping together since 93' whereas Eluzhen has been rapping solo since 97'. Temperature is somewhat of a newcomer to the group however, he has been doing his own thing for a hot minute. Since Skitzz and Eluzhen are cousins and Skitzz & Raz have been tight since junior high, it was only a matter of time before they put their collective heads together to form a cohesive unit. |

Press Reviews
Excerpt from The Fremont CD Press Review as reviewed by Mark Castruita, Staff Writer. *********
Undeterred by the tumult of the past year, Pyroteks will release a new album, Pyrotekniques, further cementing Skitzz' position as the hardest-working man in hip-hop. Like most Pyroteks productions, Pyrotekniques is a long affair with a few guests and lots of styles. Its songs feature a number of talented MCs, including Eluzhen, Razputin, Slimm, and Temperature, and an up & coming female singer with a nice voice. Coming just months after a potentially career-ending trial, a few new additions & a new name, Pyrotekniques is at the very least an achievement in perseverance.
This is honestly their strongest album to date, with music that's filled with catchy hooks, rump-shaking beats and lyrics fueled by Eluzhen's and Raz' hustler's vigilance.
Pyroteks displays Skitzz' gifts for organizing tightly stitched narrative and stunningly precise detail. The Pyroteks crew shows that they live and die by the three elements of hip-hop survival in their song "Y'all Ain't Dangerous" with their words;
"lyrics, charisma, and the link to the street ...
if the street don't feel ya, they probably gonna kill ya"
Each track achieves something different, each has its own musical style, which makes it an interesting listen. Track after track of the Pyrotekniques saga show the highest caliber quality: the bouncy party anthems "Come to me" and "crazy, baby", the smoothly capitalistic "We Can Have it All", the sleek tune "Make it freaky", and somber track "This is life."
Up and Down this album shows no weaknesses, which makes Pyrotekniques a must have this Christmas.
