Artist History It began with brew and conversation, as it often does, whatever it may be. In 1998 Jonathan and Gene decided to get together and play some guitar in Jonathan's basement apartment in Northwest DC. Soon, they decided to venture out of that small but homey space to turn their music on the rest of the world. Gene switched back to bass guitar and Dave was added on drums for his ability to combine jazz-like sensitivites with Keith Moon-like percussion assaults.
