Press Reviews
"...And when you're done, you can check the web page of a local one man band... Okay, now I'm sure that the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of that is some guy with drums on his knees and a kazoo and xylophone both strapped to his chin. I bet that's not what you think of when someone says Nine Inch Nails! However, Trent Resner is the only guy in that one man band. So, check out Myke Vollero's promising project: Malevolent.Despite the fact that all recordings so far sound like they were recorded with someone's boom-box sitting on the bass drum during a practice session in a basement somewhere (and they were), anyone with the literary patience to read some lyrics or try and translate the Tablature can see exactly why I call it promising. I myself tabbed out a few of the songs (although Mike has not yet placed them on the site) and was invited to provide my own guitar playing abilities to the project. Gasp! Flattery flying right and left here! I agreed to do what I could, and now shal spend my sleepless nights learning the songs that he has so far..." |
