Artist History JOYSLAM: Out of the ashes of the band Atomic Fantasy, the project known as Joyslam was forged. Vocalist Rob Martine ventured out to create a unique funk/rock sound. An integration of various musical styles such as latin, jazz, electronica and reggae.

Group Members Rob Martine’s vocal abilities are clearly a defining sound for Joyslam, "Rob puts on one of the most fun, athletic and intense shows I've seen in a long,long time" was said of Joyslam by Wanted Dead or Alive magazine in it's May 2002 issue - where as Joyslam’s rhythm section compliments that intensity by delivering a sound that is one of astounding groove and presence. Laying down the solid foundation for the band is drummer Tim Browne, an alumnus of the prestigious Berkley School of Music. Bassist Dale Sood brings energy, flow, and soul to the bottom end of the group - taking from his nearly ten years of professional playing in rock, jazz, gospel, and funk. Rounding out the group is guitarist Lorne Hind, who’s twenty years of broad guitar work with several Canadian acts have given him a uniquely fluid and soulful sound with uncompromising precision. Murray Pollard, of Murray Pollard Entertainment said of one of Joyslam's most recent shows "An Excellent show as always ! A great time was had by all !"
