Artist History
BTF formed in mid-1996, with three highly innovative, patient multi-instrumentalists towering above influencial differences, to create some of the finest post-industrial alternative techo to date. While BTF played only a handful of gigs (one in which the band traveled around playing out of a van on Halloween night) before its disassociation in late 1997, its impact was significant enough to stir waves of technical innovation throughout the Santa Barbara music scene, reverberating with harmony out of the midst of disharmony. Although talks of reformation are frequent and optimistic, the separating and prospering solo careers of its members make suchan occasion unlikey in the near future. Let this page serve as a basically unworthy attempt to exonerate the gathering of some of the most creative minds yet, so that the power of their music is made free to all. |
