Artist History
Zero Dependence was formed in 1998 by Max Havoc, DJ Liden, and Sam Anderson. This lineup managed to produce two albums together, play countless amounts of shows, and promote themselves to the point where they established an exceptional, loyal fanbase. In Summer 2000, Sam Anderson opted to leave Zero Dependence and was soon replaced by Sam Powell. Sam went on to play several shows with Zero Dependence until being replaced with Sam Anderson again in January 2001. Zero Dependence went back to the studio in 2001 to record an EP with Joe Rogers. However, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, the CD was never finished and Sam Anderson left the band yet again for the final time. Sam Powell rejoined in Fall 2001 to resume where he had left off. During his time in the band, the group wrote some of the heaviest, fastest stuff they have put forth at this time. However, the lineup was fleeting and by Spring 2002, Sam Powell had left Zero Dependence. After a brief hiatus and a couple of drummers in between, the group recruited Mike L. to assume the drumming duties for the group. The group currently has plans to record an EP produced by Max Havoc. |
