Artist description
TENNESSEE BACKPORCH is Erie Pennsylvania's premier variety band, covering everything from classical, big band, fifties, country, motown, swing, classic rock, right into the hits of today. This five-piece group has been entertaining the northwestern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas for over twenty years, and gets many compliments on how it appeals to all ages. All five members take turns singing lead vocals which keeps the sound versatile, and tight five-part harmonies are often added for a very full sound. THE BACKPORCH has performed the broadway musical "Pump Boys and Dinettes" at several area locations including the Erie Playhouse and Mt. Gretna Theater, and has been privileged to be the warm-up act for some artists including Ray Stevens and Marty Robins. The band's energy is definitely contagious, and if you get a chance to catch a performance, don't miss it! |
