Artist description
The Knox College Choir is a fifty-voice ensemble composed of students at the college, a small, private liberal arts college in western Illinois. Members of the choir come from all over the world and have majors as diverse as political science and biochemistry. The choir conducts numerous performances throughout the year, both on and off campus, and is currently preparing for a tour which includes Carnegie Hall in New York City. |

Artist History
The music program has been an integral part of the Knox community throughout its history. Director Laura Lane has been with Knox College since 1983 and has brought a strong love of contemporary American music to the choir. The choir toured England in 1995 and Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague in 1999. |
