Artist History
In September 1997, HSE took their pop / modern rock fusion and recorded a nine-song demo project entitled Live From the Recording Studio. Due to its local popularity and immediate college radio airplay, the band independently released the project locally and soon got provincial distribution through Indie Pool Alberta. After appearing on several compilation disks, HSE attracted the attention of famed producer / engineer Mark S. Berry and his international recording label Attack Records and Filmworks. Mark quickly took the band under his wing and let them loose in Phase One Studios, one of Canada’s top recording studios. There they worked with engineer / co-producer Dave Tedesco. All things combined produced the epic major label release Frozen Sonic. The band has recently completed a successful Western Canadian tour and is planning additional extensive touring in support of the album. |
