In July of 2000, Gina was invited to appear as the local Utah opening act for The Girls Room Tour, a Capitol Records tour featuring label artists Tara MacLean, Shannon McNally, Kendall Payne and Amy Correia. Press Reviews
"Yes she's a female singer-songwriter armed with an acoustic guitar, but the similarities end there. French has a gorgeous voice that's rich with sensuality and possesses an even better ear for dark melodies" (Salt Lake City Weekly). "Every now and then an artist like Gina French comes out of nowhere possessing the uncany ability to blow you pleasantly away" (Catalyst Magazine).
