Experimental, techno, industrial, obnoxious noise |

Musical Influences
Let's see...Clayton likes punk and Dave likes metal. Sean likes lots of genres. None of us are really big fans of electronic music though...strange how that works. |

Artist History
Formed in 2000, Autoshape started out as a side project by Clayton Morris of "Three and a Half White Guys." He was writing his history paper and noticed it said "autoshapes" at the bottom of Microsoft Word and decided to make a band. It was at this time that Clayton originated the genre"Mouth Techno" with songs such as "Club One Five" and "Rogaine." The band's original line up consisted of David Ziegler, Sean Gannon, and Paul Dehmer. However, due to pressure from other musical projects, Paul made an amicable split with Autoshape in the summer of 2001. Autoshape's music is influenced by the decaying culture of American society, politics, daily life, boredom, and fuzzy pants. The band strives to write music which is always original, funny, and sometimes annoying. |
