Artist History
Truth In Fiction was started in March of 2000. The band, then consisting of Chris Luccas, Dan Beres, and Aaron Luccas, called themselves "Three Drink Minimum." For their very first show, they set up a Variety Show at the Waterford Union High School, the school they attended. They headlined the show and it was a huge success that got rave reviews from the audience. "Three Drink Minimum" decided to kick it up a notch and add Justin Pelishek to the mix. With Justin part of the band, many changes came about. They started to write their own music instead of covering other band's songs. "Three Drink Minimum" also became known as "Truth In Fiction" soon after Justin joined. As the year passed and Truth In Fiction gained interest, they decided it was time to record a demo cd. They then called Tooth And Nail recording artist "Hangnail" for support. Under Hangnail's wing, Truth In Fiction learned what it really meant to be a band and recorded a very successful 4 song demo disk. After Uniform Records, a local record label, showed interest, Truth In Fiction started playing more shows and gaining even more interest. Truth In Fiction currently stands as a Southeastern Wisconsin "local" band, but they are sure to be the next big thing in the pop/punk music scene! Watch out Blink-182, here comes Truth In Fiction!
