Artist History
1991: Andrew and Morgan meet, play together in Thimblefairy. They pen immortal classic "Gore Girls" as Al Gore ascends to vice-presidency; Morgan gets tatoo. 1992-1994: Joe and Morgan play together in shambling, 10-person ska-punk juggernaut Ska Humbug. 1995: First incarnation of "Andrew Graham And The High-Steppin' Nickel Kids" with Joe on drums. Songs are fast and complicated beyond belief. 1995-present: Original members occasionally get together to watch AGATHNiK videos and mourn loss of youthful energy. Andrew expresses embarassment over name. 1998: Andrew, Joe, and Morgan move to Boston to "get the band back together", unaware that the very phrase has become cliche. 2000: Western civilization fails to collapse; Tim joins the re-named "High-Steppin' Nickel Kids" after breakup of his previous band, Endless. 2000 1/2: Morgan takes time off from real job to investigate risky internet promotion schemes.
2001: Earth opens up and swallows Tim whole. Remaining band members resign themselves to dreary "life" as a three-piece. 2002: Longtime internet adversary Tigger joins band; Platonically ideal Nickel Kids lineup finally complete.
