Artist description
"Quiet Eye" is the project of producer/engineer Brian Scibinico. This music is created with equal parts sampling and sound generation. Generated sounds come from a variety of digital and analog synths. Samples come from every source of sound available. All samples are mangled with various outboard and plug-in fx units. Analog as well as digital sounds and filter sweeps often co-exist in the same song. Captured performances compliment sequenced musical patterns. Mixdowns are completed in Pro-Tools. |

Press Reviews
Review of the song "fear of fire" from "Integrated Arts XII" located at: mp3.com/stations/ia_xii
This track is recommended for those that wish to sit with closed eyes, reclining back, and seeing colors shift and swirl without the need for vice. It simply happens. Within the breakbeat structure, Quiet Eye polishes off a snapshooter that pulls knife hand attacks, hammerfist drumming, and whirling blade shifting from premise to premise. An attack that is both unmeditated and unexpected is the mightiest upon the target. Precise phase crackles through this track, and voluminous cartwheels are experimented with the mix here, thus causing us here in the Land of Phrygia to bounce our head uncontrollably to the rolling acrobatics being performed by Quiet Eye. Score Quiet Eye - set and match.
