Artist History
This wonderful tale of glitter and glamour started somewhere in February 1997. When five young punks decided to make dreadful noise and drink beer. They gave their band the name; No Budget At All. This correctly reflected the financial status of all the band members. Soon however musical differences led to the departure of one of the guitar players. After he left the remaining members changed the band name into; No Butt No Hole. They are; Mark; guitar, Karel; bass, Michiel; drums and Lucas; vocals. From that point on everything changed. The four remaining boys started to make punk and enjoyed it very much. The music consists of speedy guitar and bass riffs, pounding drums combined with a punk/hardcore-like voice. After a year of hard work and doing a couple of gigs the young lads recorded their first mini-CD called; Skater. It contained twenty minutes of decadence directed to society, television, football, beans and their own persons. In the last two years they’ve worked hard to improve their music and write new songs aswell as playing one show a month on average. In these two years the merchandise sales and money the band members saved was enough to record a new CD. So once again the boys went into the studio and recorded their latest CD called; Flying The Jolly Roger. The new CD reflects the musical growth of the last two years and addresses certain social problems and issues of respect aswell as containing a few humorous nonsense songs. Currently the band is attempting to play on stage regularly and making a name for themselves in the Dutch punk and hardcore scene. |
