Press Reviews
Southend (essex uk)perverts, NADIR, have finallyunleashed their "stigmata plague" (8/10) demo toravage the civilised world, and you'd be hard pushedto find a nastier out pouring this month. Four songsof pestilent death metalthat combine slamming riffsextreme speed and the most demonic vocals since "sanity reigns" all to great effect. interestingly enough they alsomanage to add a hint of new wave metal groove with out getting all wanky on us, making for an unusual slanton that whole "grunt and grind" deal. Minor soundreservations aside nadir come heavily recommendedfor fans of brutal death.Taken from TERRORIZER magazine NOV 1999 issue |
