Artist History exmow fi wurde 1992 gegründet und hieß zunächst 'Stoned Belly Buttons'. Am Anfang änderte sich die Besetzung noch mehrmals, es wurden aber bereits Alben auf MC vervielfältigt und unter Freunden in Umlauf gebracht. Seit Anfang 1997 heißt die Band 'exmow fi'. Seitdem wird regelmäßig etwa im Jahresabstand ein neues Album veröffentlicht. Im März 1998 stieß der jetzige Schlagzeuger Troll dazu, im Juli 1998 verließ der Keyboarder aus beruflichen Gründen die Band. Seit Anfang 2001 ist Peter unser neuer Schlagzeuger
