Blue Major is a rock/popband from Eastern Norway with great ambitions.The band was started in 1995 by Bjørnar Bakke and has kept its members since the start.After about 40 concerts in Norway the band has achieved a good live concept, and has also learnt that progress demands hard work.In the autumn 2000 the band released a 4 track EP; "It's Gonna Be Me".The band consists of 5 members who work hard towards an international career. |

Artist History
Blue Major was started by Bjørnar Bakke January 1995 Blue Major are: vocals Lasse Sølvberg, guitars Bjørnar Bakke, drums Kenneth Wold,synth Tom Sørheim and bas Roar Skutbersveen All members are from Oppland/Hedemark in Norway.Their first step was to learn a lots of cover songs to get on the road. After about 6 months with practice it was time to get their first job.This was a local party and a big success with lots of great feedback.After 3 years on the road playing rock/pop, the band had enough money to start on their first record project.Out of 12 songs music/lyrics written by Blue Majorand influence by pop/rock from 80/90th`stheir picked out 4 to get on a EP. The recordings was made at Panser Studio A/S with engineer Bjørn Bergersen and producer Ronny Ødegård.The EP is for sale in sept 2000 |
