Artist History Southern Sounds Quartet formed in 1994 with a desire to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a top quality traditional quartet fashion.Some of SSQs achievements include opening for top name Southern Gospel artists such as The Stamps, The Nelons, and The Kingdom Heirs. SSQ also took home a second place award in the 1998 Grand Ole Gospel Reunion Talent competition.
