Artist History Rhythm Deep is one of the newest original bands on Boston's North Shore. The band began jamming together in 1996 and finally completed their lineup in Juneof 1997. Band members Bill Knickles, on lead guitar,and Bill Melanson, on bass and vocals, write RhythmDeep's original music. The songs are filled out nicelyby Melanson's lifelong friend and music partner, Frank Coughlin, on rhythm guitar, and Duffy Bouchard on drums. Their backgrounds growing up in the rock music scene blend perfectly with their appreciation for current music to create a fantastic progressive rock sound. Despite recognizable influences in their music, Rhythm Deep manages to create a totally unique sound with their all-original set list.
