Artist History
2 Filipino-American artists, Jaymejack and Dwightdavid have been writing music since the dawn of 1994.They have been solid supporters of local original music in Las Vegas, playing their originals at open micvenues. In 1996 they decided to recruit others to form the first generation of the Melancholics. That inception produced a fan based, good press reviews, airplay rotation and a debut CD. The CD garnered them a spot in Musician Magazine' Best Unsigned Band Search in 1996. After that everything is history. |
