Artist History
Playing in different bands since he was 15, he started doing by his own, with the single “When sailors
are in town” in 1991. A slow acoustic bottleneck guitarsong.
In the same year he also recorded, supported by musicians from
Berlin, his first real album “Dead Horse”. A kind of destructive psychedelic rock album. Released by
the german hardcore label 42 Records from Stuttgart and distributed by X-Mist.
.
But unlucky with this band he began touring solo through Europe and a 6 track 7” came out in 1992
with only acoustic stuff, called “Back on the way”.
.
Then in summer 1993 he started again working with a band, this time supported by Tico Zamora on
bass who had played with H.R. and Mo Tucker and on drums Steve Hahn from the German heavy
band Jingo de Lunch.
In a few days they recorded a bareboned rock’n’roll album called “…and here comes Centurio”,
which was released in 1994, distributed by Semaphore.
.
After giving nearly a hundred solo concerts in 1995 he put together another CD “live and alone”:
recorded at different places with different technics. Acoustic- and also electric guitar was used, mostly
in a slanting singer/songwriter style.
Now new album “Low Rally” is out. Only the sound of an old semi-acoustic rock’n’roll guitar and a
little bit of singing.
First presented live in London and in Reading at a singer/songwriter bonanza february 1998. |
