Artist History
DIESEL CANDY have been dishing out their unique blend of heavy crunch pop since 1993. Gravitating to Vancouver from all parts of Canada.
In late ‘97, the incomparable MICHAELA BENTLEY joined the ranks, bringing her expressive vocal range and sultry demeanor that morphed the band into something special. Her uncanny ability to pick up the existing material was most notable, and a flurry of new songs were written soon after she joined.
DIESEL CANDY has enjoyed opening for BAD RELIGION in Seattle and again at the Vancouver stop of the VANS WARPED TOUR in the Summer of 1998.
DIESEL CANDY has shared bills with a veritable who's who of West coast and international acts: 5440, BARNEY BENTALL, ART BERGMAN, AGE OF ELECTRIC, TKCHUNG, NOISE THERAPY, JAR , THE REAL MACKENZIES and a host of others. |
