Artist description
Chip Chance plays Synths to relax. Sometimes he's having a bad day, others he's having a good one. The mood gets baked into the music.
Depending on the time of month, color of the day, current musical styles, etc, his output may be more or less heavy, bluesier, or more stylish.
Either way, he makes music; sometimes for TV shows, sometimes for the movies he's writing. |

Artist History
Chip Chance started learning the Piano after going to Germany, finding his cousin had an organ, played it, and loved it. His parents bought him a piano when he was 5, and has been playing keys ever since.
When he was 10, he started a band called Wet, Wild, and Rabid, from which nothing much came other than a really offensive song that was never recorded. He also wrote lots of parodies at the time (Take Me Down to McDonald-Land City) to the tune of (Paradise City - GNR).
That band had a breakup, and soon, Chip was buying his first real Synth. It was his Casio VZ-1, which he still has.
Eventually, Chip started doing the TV thing, and the idea of making music videos and movies came to mind. As he started to think about these things, the concept of writing soundtracks took over, and that's what he did to relax when coming home from the video store where he worked at ages 16-18. |
