Artist History Cantor started playing in 1996, but each of the individual players had long musical references. For all of the players, Cantor was one band in a long row of bands in our youth. In Cantor we combined the experience we had achieved over the years to play the kind of music we liked. Mostly this meant that we played covers at different parties. During the same time a will to create own stuff emerged, and some own songs were written. After three years of playing cover songs at birthday parties, christmas parties and weddings we decided that time is right to move on. Cantor was put to rest in late 1999 and the band members decided to take one step further and concentrate 100% on own music under a different name.
