Artist description Bonded is now a 2 man band, with just the songwriters James B. Payne(lyrics) & Robert R. Pettersen(music) doing all of their own creating and recording. We are about to release our new CD "Please excuse the cat hair!" This is much more a techno-rock CD, focusing more on Pettersen's keyboard and programing skills, and Payne's intense lyrics and deep bass vocals.

Artist History Songwriters Robert R. Pettersen(music) and James B. Payne(lyrics) have been writing together for along time. They're first CD " Blue Words & Black Guitars" was released in 1998, and had a good run on Mp3.com. At one time Bonded had 6 songs in the top ten at one time, all in different generes. They're new soon to be released CD "Please excuse the cat hair!" has Bonded dropping their band, and their guitar dominated sound. They kept the Spiritually charged lyrics, but with the departure of lead guitar player Rick Nash they focused much more on Pettersen's keyboard playing for this CD, something he didn't even touch on the last CD. The keyboards on "Blue Words & Black Guitars" were handled by Bonded's lyricist James B. Payne. This much more of Techno-rock project, than a Rock project, but the guitar is still present, and especially strong on songs like "Poli-Ticks" and the cover of Elton John's "Levon." We will be uploading new songs to this site over the next couple of weeks. This will give people a chance to download the songs before the CD is released.
