Artist History
Formed outside of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, in 1996 by Mike Burro. Brought by Burro to the U.S. in 1997. Released "Alien Theme" and "Technoanthropology" in 1997 (out of print, but available privately on CD-R). 1999: performed at the Strange Daze, space rock festival, Nelson Ohio. Toured Europe November-December 1999.2000: played stateside shows through spring. Released "Integration" CD on Lollipop Shop Records, Berlin Germany, 6/2000. Performed at The Hamburg Hawkfest, June 2000.Toured supporting Harvey Bainbridge of Hawkwind during the Traveling Outerspace Spectacular Tour; 8/2000
The band continues to release material and now have several releases to their credit. These can be purchased through Ebay at http://www.ebat.com ( search for Sloterdijk).
Sloterdijk had found tremendous support in The UK, and we continue to extend ourselves further into that region.
