Artist History
Originaly Rikhy Ray played classical Indian music, he is true disciple of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan. Since 1987 started his world fusion group "MANGALAM". Since then he tours with the group, records CDs, TV shows in India and Europe. Among its musicians are on percussion: T.H. "Vikku" Vinayakram, Freddie Santiago (Puerto Rico), Sivamani, Faizal Qureshi, Selva Ganesh, Cristobal Larrinaga (Cuba). Violinists: Ganesh, Raghavendra Rao.Rikhy produced several albums with Mangalam, solo nad with other artists like Ravi Kiran, Raghavendra, Navin, Bombay Jayasri. |
