Artist description Path of Least Resistance (P.O.L.R., for short) is a South Florida-based rock band. We play music that can best be described as "schizophrenic low-fi rock 'n' roll." The music is influenced by a wide variety of bands and styles; most notably punk (such as Bad Religion, Lagwagon and Minor Threat), hard rock/metal (too many bands to mention) and indie rock in all its forms (Dead Milkmen, They Might Be Giants, Weezer). Elements of funk, blues or even rockabilly appear from time to time in our songs, as well.

Artist History The members met in the early '90s, but did not start playing music together until 1997. They started rehearsing and writing songs in earnest in mid 1998, when "Mail Order Bride" and a song formerly called "These Riders Three" were born. After some line-up instability, P.O.L.R. finally returned to its two-piece roots in early 2000.
