Artist History After a relatively confidential series of demo tapes, 1998 sees him signing a 4-track single (When I Was a Ninja) on Soundstation, a label from Liège, followed by an album (Cum at the Liquid Fancy Fair), both of which were warmly received by the Belgian press and audience. Those first songs are a blending of pop arrangements and childlike lyrics in an absurd and playful atmosphere, sometimes reminiscing of Jonathan Richman or Ween.Early 2000 will see the release of his new opus, Hey Tank !He recorded, arranged and produced this new collection all by himself, in his home studio, opting for the darker and more minimalist side of his music. These 15 pop songs were inspired by dreams and stories which also gave birth to a series of mysterious collages. The album as well as the illustrations come within the scope of a global project to which a video clip (for A Desperate Trail) and a rigorous yet well-designed and really personal web page will soon be added…
