Artist History The history of Lyponuts startes back in our eigth grade of middle school, 1995. We formed a band to play at our eighth grade talentshow. Dan Burke on guitar along with Matt Dargin on Lead. Mike Snow singing, Brian Burke on the drums and John davidean on the Bass. Who ever knew after this star studed performance a band would actually form.. It sure as hell was not me! Moving into the summer of that year the original Lyponuts was formed, then called landmine. Kevin Gerstel, lead guitar, Dan Burke, rythme guitar, John Davidean on Bassand vocals, and mike snow on the drums. After a series of local starts playing covers and our then 2 original songs we moved onto the cookout scene. After a short stay there and an increased amount of songs our name was changed to Lyponuts. Dan then shared the responsibility of singing the original tunes while John sang our covers. A short while later, John Davidean was removed on personal differences. Playin a few shows without a bass Joe Morrissey was brought in and taught the magic of a bass. This is when the first demo "whatch you fall" was released. Only 100 copies made. Although it just didn't seem to work out and he was also removed. Then in our last years we have picked up Kristen Oxley. One of the better looking members and a hell of a bass player she totally rounded out the group. This was also the point where Dan had dropped out on guitar to concentrate on his vocal ability. More songs and shows later we are still rocking and hope to record in the near future. To John and Joe you are Nuts till the very fucking end!!! Always welcome and forever appreciated for what you put into this group...Thanks!
