Artist description
Are they angry, no just a little bitter. Are they a rock band, yes if you throw punk and technology into the equation. Are they sellouts, no but they appreciate a good hook. Do they play hard and loud, Definitely. But SUCKERPUMP would rather smack you on the ass then punch you in the face.Do we take ourselves seriously, no this isn?t a cure for cancer. Are we the most original band in the world, no we steal a little from everyone. Will we exhilarate or offend you, Definitely. |

Artist History
Formed in Los Angeles in 1999, the band members backgrounds are as diversified as their sound. Styles that range from Rock to Punk to Electronica to Turntablism and Hip-Hop, are what makes up SUCKERPUMP. The enclosed CD exemplifies their cohesive, yet never predictable sound. Not being locked into a formula allows them to be as varied as anyone?s CD collection. Rather then pushing the same button over and over until it?s dead, they look for a new button to push on every song. While they spend many hours cooped up in a home studio under artificial light writing and programming their songs. Songs that have been featured on such TV shows as Sex And The City, Angel, X-MEN, Charmed, and Third Watch. Their real forte is on stage with a live audience. This is where their experience shows because they realize that the audience needs and wants to be entertained. |
