Artist History Once, when I was eleven, I was riding in a train on the way home from my vacations. Suddenly, I realized, there was music vibrating inside of me. The feeling was so strikingly marvellous, because the music occured absolutely in spite of myself, while its form, melody, and harmony were quite definite. I merely couldn't fight the desire to write it down. But the trouble was my ignorance of notes. That's how I decided to become a composer.I'd been studying for some years before I finally started my career as a composer, pianist, and arranger. I've written down quite a lot of music, but who knows, if I preserved the capacity to hear the music vibrating in my heart?
