Artist History
INNERSIDE is a modern metal band from Orange County, California. Originally formed in October 1999 by Stricker brothers Jason (vocals) and Cory (bass). Guitarist Tom Nguyen joined Innerside in the summer of 2001. The band has recently re-formed with the addition of drummer Tyler Mahurin.
Innerside’s sound bridges the gap of cultural and musical distinction, fusing powerful metal with cutting edge rap and lyrics that cut to the heart of today ’s issues.
The band ’s stage performance leaves audiences floored with their intense energy and superb showmanship -reminiscent of classic bands such as Metallica, System of a Down, Rage Against the Machine &The Red Hot Chili Peppers. With a current fan base of primarily 16-35 year old males, Innerside continues to expand their fan base with every performance. “We are four guys that are not only on the same page musically, but we share the same goals and aspirations of making our sound accessible to the world,” says co--founder Jason Stricker.
Innerside is a modern metal band that lives, eats and breathes music. Their passionate sound is destined for success |

Press Reviews
FROM: Ed of Xpheresongx (www.mp3.com/kubical_xphere) - Your style is reminiscent of bands like PANTERA and SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Very hard driving instrumentals with intense lyrics. Good luck to you and keep ROCKIN! FROM: Celeste Heldstab (fullmoonparadise@msn.com) - Thanks for letting me listen to your tunes. They are wonderful and I wish you much luck and prosperity. They are truly wonderful pieces! FROM: Conny Agelkvist (www.mp3.com/raptor303 - brainsnower@hotmail.com) - You guys make really good rock. Thug Rock is a very good word for it. Very talented. The mix you have between ballad style and brutality, such as in TEST, is very professionally done and you have composed the songs very well. LAST DAYS and COMIN AT YOU have a Rage Against The Machine attitude. WHO R U with it's mixing ballads parts would be perfect in a brutality movie. I would rate your music 9 out of 10, and I'm not even really much into such music. I must say you have done a great job and you play very tight together. I will listen to you many times! FROM: RevGhoUL (www.ampcast.com/revghoul - revghoul@revghoul.com) - "RUN" Starting out with a very flavorful bass solo (great tone!), after a few seconds this song pummels you with a barrage of thick guitars (ALA early AIC). The vocals are very reminiscent of the 'Seattle Grunge Scene' of the late 80's. Well produced and extremely tight, everything fits together very nicely. In my opinion, this would make great background music for a Hollywood 'chase' scene. "INNERSIDE" More of that wonderful bass, this time followed by a 'chunk' that would make C.O.C. cringe. They (Innerside) are without a doubt on the same level and peer group as some of the Hard-core Crossover Giants (C.O.C., Prong, etc...). The vocals sound strikingly similar to Tommy Victor of Prong. Of course, the production shines through. Comparing yourself to Metallica is a put down, because you sound WAY better! I'm so impressed by you guys I'm considering getting a CD! Thanks for turning me on to some kickass music, and best wishes!
