Artist description
Hailing from an unknown part of a known town, Fusion bring a modified sound out of Bilston, Wolverhampton. At 17 it's unbeliveable to think "555" has been making music for 5 years. "It started out with me mixing 'Skee-Lo's - I wish' with a self-speeded up version of 'Children' by Robert Miles" says "555" "It must have been way over 200bpm" he laughs "I still have it on tape somewhere".The final piece in the two part puzzle is "DJ Pants", an extremly quiet (until you get him comfortable), plain looking, mountain of a man who at 19 was never really intrested in making music until a few years ago. "He was really against it at first, the thing that I think got him involved was when I was making the Demo version of 'Dance Machine' and could'nt find a beat or bass to go with the song and he showed his talent and added both the bass and beat". "555" finishes. The pair both entered the world in New Cross Hospital, Wolverhampton and little did they know but when "555" was born he lived just around the corner from a 2 year old "DJ Pants". "Yeah, but he only lived there for 2 weeks" - "Pnats" broke his silence with. It was 5 years later that they would meet back up and lay the foundations of what has become a rock solid friendship. "If I was gay, It'd probably be with him" "555" laugha hysterically."Yeah just to clear it up, he thought the nickname was funny!" "DJ Pants" claims.Interview by - Gav Stevens |

Artist History
"Plain and simple:- We started making music in 1997, right when DE first came out" says "555"."Yeah, we've been making music for 3 years, we started out making mainly Dance based music (as seen in the first album), but I think were evolving extremely quicky, our sound is now either harder or easier - theres no balance, but we do still make the occasional 'Old School' track where we go back to our roots and thats what I love about 'Fusion' - it's unpredictability!"
