Press Reviews
On The Feedback Sonatas: "Probably one of the most impressive...releases that I've listened to since I started this mag. [The Feedback Sonatas have] the minimalist style of Köner's Permafrost, with the same sort of depth and emotive quality that has made Lull so popular. Tracks, or rather, "clouds" of droning, high-end sound build up, expand, and pass away. Some throb with that just below the threshold of human audibility power, others fill up the room and listener's mind like a revelation. A work like this is a rarity--a document with enough integrity to make a drive to the corner store seem like an epiphanous occasion. This is the sort of thing that I listen to experimental music for." Vince Harrigan, Manifold 6, Fall 1995 |
