Artist History Sixth Sense started as a high school cover band covering tunes by Metallica, Van Halen, Extreme, and Dream Theater. This four song demo was written shortly after at a local studio in Franklin Square, New York. Craig Maresca and Joe Gullo both had the extremely fortunate oppertunity to study under two of the great guitar players around-Schrapnel recording artist Rich Kern, and Dream Theater's John Petrucci. Both were huge influences on their playing styles.
