Artist History
Debbie and Gina used to be in Sway. Amy used to be in Pasted on. Our first practice was in 10 degree weather in a garage. we could only play for about 10 minutes before none of us could feel our fingers. a little over a year later, we practice in Gina and Debbie's basement, which actually has heat, light and carpeting! In March 2001 we got Jenny as our new drummer and will have our first show with her soon! |

Press Reviews
The Pillowmints have just released a self-titled EP and report that the track "Fluffer" is available at http://www.mp3.com. A recent show at Pops on Chicago found the band in good form-Gina's voice, Debbie's guitar stylings, Carla's Mo Tucker-influenced drumming and Amy's sure-footed bass all shined separately to create an informed and entertaining whole.
