Artist History Friends for years, Anthony Calderisi and Mike Whalen put together Telstar in the winter of 1998. They started out in the coffee house scene, but quickly moved into the eclectic Chicago club scene with a three piece "Power Pop" line-up often complimented on their huge sound. They've had recent sucess with the single "Sunshine" played on local radio 93.1 WXRT. They've been held in regards as one of Chicago's best kept secret.
