Artist description
Answer by Sébastien Exertier, independent journalist: The adventure has began early in 1999 by the meeting of the 4 TEKH musicians on Internet. They decide to compose a first title together then to create a true band. Except that its members has never met. TEKH band is Henry Earley, a well known musician from Missouri, who played with Pat Metheny and compose notably compose soundtracks. It is also Tispaquin, Native Wampanoag, one of the former members of the Darkfeather band. It is the Pyrenean primitive Kitusai who played for a while in the Parisian subway and now enlivens the artistic collective of the same name on Internet. It is lastly David Hayden who plays and compose a thousand musics in a thousand bands. A band exploded on two continents, that compose and play music by Internet. Each song of the "Internet Band" will have traveled more than 60,000 miles through cables before succeeding. Who said that technology kills human exchanges? |
