Artist History
A Little History One Missing formed in the winter of 1997 in Jersey City New Jersey, after roughly two and a half years of intense practice in basements and various studios throughout the northeast tri-state area, they teamed up with rocker/producer Rob Simmons and independently released a six-song demo, which successfully circulated within their local underground music circuit. They also launched a self booked self started tour of fifty dates which included world famous CBGB’s (1/17/00) New York City, NY, Love Sexy (3/17/00) Hoboken, NJ and the Bayonne Home Town Fair (5/19/00) Bayonne NJ, to name a few.Later they independently released a CD entitled “And it’s you!!!” containing eleven songs and began another successful assault on their local underground circuit. An audiocassette version of the album is now also available at a reduced price. From day one it has been nothing short of a dream come true for One Missing in many ways. After a little more fine tuning and playing out, the band intends to start an account with MP3.com, then head back to the studio to start working on their next album and so forth… |
