Artist description Mary Kay is a solo artist. She is currently recording, and therefore, not playing live.Her back up band is always led by her husband Steven on guitar and backing vocals, and usually includes an array of the areas finest live players.The usual line up is: two guitars,bass,drums,and keyboards with lots of BG vocals.

Musical Influences Mary Kay's vocal influences include everyone from Maryanne Faithful to Debbie Harry, & Carole King to Gwen Stefani. Currently MK is listening to Blondie and 60's rocker Smith (Baby It's You), for inspiration while making her CD.

Artist History Mary Kay is solo artist. She began performing live and making 8 Track demos in Monterey, CA in Summer of 1996.She began choosing material for her first full lenghth CD in Spring of 2000.Currently, Mary Kay is in the studio co producing her CD with husband Steve.Here are the first two finished tracks.
