Artist History
In the beginning, four guys got together and decided to make some music. After three months, and with therockquest a month away, they panicked, until Hamishsuggested a singer called Scott. As a group, they made their first song "Married the Buzz", and the bandreadied themselves for their first liveperformance. It was good enough for the judges, and the regionalfinals in Wellington loomed. Another song, and a lot of hard work, and the rockquest breezed by,alot of experience gained in the process. Afterthe rockquest MANoR MACHINE gained more experienceopening a gig for the rockquest national finalists1QA ,and also played a school dance. They felt theyneeded something more, and a chance meeting leadto Matthew Henley, aka DJ Phat Camp, aka VooDoo Clown, to bring his turntable skills to the plate. This exposure and MANoR MACHINE's connections lead to a position on a cd of local bands, and this lead to the recording of the demoPassport. This demo then lead in turn to thelegendary Valve gig (November 16th 2000 baby!).MANoR MACHINE continue to gig and collect aninterested audience into their interesting mix ofNu Metal. |
