Artist History Ancestral Legacy was formed winter 95/96 by Eddie Risdal and Kjell-Ivar Aarli. A bunch of songs were made, but nothing really creative happened before Oyvind Rosseland joined in '98. After that we made some more tracks, and recorded the best ones for a 10-track demo-CD that we finished in the autumn 2000. Early 2002 we finished recording a new demo, seeing the band taking a step towards even more symphonic and epic direction. This demo contains one intro, 5 new songs + 3 re-recorded songs from our last demo. Better songs, better production, a total killer album! Øyvind Rosseland left the band few weeks after this recording, and will not be replaced at this moment of time. Only Eddie remains from the old line-up, the band now count 5 members. New demo-CD called "Of magic illusions" released April 11th 2003.
