Artist description LUNATEX is a 100% live p.a., performing and producing electronic music in various styles using drum machines, synth modules, keyboards, samplers, live bass, turntables, and other noise in a realtime live enviornment. The result is creative, spontaneous sonic expression without boundaries, exploring the deeper dimensions of techno, breaks, trance, and jungle as well as space-aged ambient and intelligent...Lunatex never uses DAT or CD performance trickery, and is respected for "keeping it real".

Artist History Levon came to Earth in 1974, appeared on his first published recording at 4, began composing electronic music at 10, began spinning records at 16, played live at a "rave" for the first time (as an ambient-space p.a.) in 1995. Performed first "mainfloor" p.a. (as Lunatex) in '96. Travelled out-of-state for a gig the first time in 1998. I've thrown a few records and remixes out there, too. Songwriting and studio / performance partner Jaytee has been there from the word go, and appears live for most performances. These kindred musical spirits who can each play several instruments have been working together for over 5 years, making music in just about any style one could imagine, exploring all sonic possibilities and never limiting themselves to a "sound".

Group Members Lunatex is the primary creation of producer/remixer Levon Louis. For most performances, Levon is joined by studio / songwriting partner Jaytee. On very special occasions, Lunatex has been known to appear with DJ MIR (Moscow) Trinity Vibe, and a live drummer also in the mix. (the 5-man show is a wicked phat display of tehcno-power)
