Artist History Shade Empire, formerly known as "Enrapture Silence" is a metal band from Kuopio, Finland. The band was founded by Juha Sirkkiä and Eero Mantere in early 1999. With a few line-up changes and a name-change the things started to roll very well for the band. The band entered the studio to record their first demo, "Throne of Eternal Night", in early 2000. Shade Empire's music has improved enormously from the times of Enrapture Silence. Now the majestic synths play greater role in the band than in the early days when the melodies were guitar-based.
