Artist description
The make-up of my band is quite simplistic. I basically write, record, engineer, all aspects of my music. It has its advantages, considering no one ever argues. |

Artist History
SLP is not a group of musicians playing clubs, eating cheese sandwiches, you know, the standard starving musician story. SLP is a bonofide bedroom musician. I am one of these guy that is told by everyone in my circle of friends that I should be playing music for a living and not just purely for my pleasure. Hopefully, by exposing myself on Websites like this one, I can meet other musicians that share the same musical interests as I, possibly connecting and working on material with each other, stranger things have happened. My studio consists of a 6 track linear analog recording console, a Roland Drum Machine, a Tascam 3-head tape deck, primarily used for bouncing and gaining an extra track or two. My amplification consists of a Carvin half-stack and a little Peavey 15-watt amp that actually really works well when you want a guitar to really cut through the mix. A assorted amount of rack effects, reverbs, delays, compressors, limiters, etc.. A JV-80 Roland keyboard that you will hear periodically. Shure-SM58 mics and a Kenwood reference system for mixing. Soon, I will be purchasing an entire PC recording center. I believe non-linear recording is the only method which my level of quality can be achieved, you will hear the difference, believe me.
