Artist description SPENT is a four piece band based in Sydney’s west. Formed in early 1999, the band has passed many long hours in the studio, labouring (and arguing!) over original music and lyrics, and evolving their sound. That sound could be described as a moody, often spitefully whimsical kind of groove-rock, with a certain lyrical intensity – wrapped around a Pearl Jam meets AC/DC meets Live kind of a construct.
